I am inspired by a blogger's attempt doing the Chinese-English translation. This gives me a click in my mind that I can try to improve my English by doing such translation of the classic poem. It refreshed my memories about this poem during high school as well.

Here to share:

The sun falls behind the mountains,
The Yellow River flows into the sea.
If you want to see farther and farther,
then you have to climb higher and higher.

There is nothing perfect

There is nothing perfect in the world. What suits you the most is the best and perfect.

The FIVE realms of in the world

The reputation: You have been away from the whole world, but the whole world still keep talking about you.
The drinking   : You still know who he is, but he already can't recognize you.
The friendship: You friends still remember you even though it has been a long time since you last contacted.
The career     : Your family miss you, your colleagues remember you.
The life          :  Come with your cry, leave with your smile.

(For the English version, I don't really agree with it. However, the Chinese version is way more meaningful.)

荣誉的最高境界:你已远离江湖,江湖还在传说你;
喝酒的最高境界:你还知道他是谁,他已经不知道你是谁;
交友的最高境界:久不联系,常在心中;
事业的最高境界:家人想你,单位念你;

The definitions of a real friend

I read these somewhere. Not sure whether there is any similar definition in English literature?

1. Real friends are not those who have unending conversations, but they are those you will not feel awkward with in the glimpse of silence.

2.  A real friend is the one who always stands by your side, holds your hands, when he/she knows and understands you totally.

3. A real friend is the one who wants to meet you without any reason.

How many real friends do you have?

Toastmaster Project 1 - IceBreaker

Yeah!! Just a note to remember my kick start on my Toastmaster project <3

Thinking that I wouldn't be very nervous, but when I was called, my legs shook terribly. I believe my voice trembled as well. However, I think I did a satisfying job and my best :) Luckily, the audience still thought me to be very confident.

I am looking forward to continuing my second project and completing my CL manual step-by-step as well.
Thanks for the evaluator's comments and kindness :) "Tonight you shine like a diamond, commented by the King of Diamond." Okay, well played ~ ~ Really thank you for the high compliment, I know that I still have lots to improve, you and other senior members are my learning goal. Hope I can level up my spoken English when time goes on, and hopefully with more courage on Table Topics and my Wisdom word in every conclusion/comment I make in the near future.

By the way, Toastmaster people are always positive, cheerful and have a great sense of humour. They are always supportive and I appreciate the chance to be part of the Toastmaster. All the best for my future BreadToasting Toastmaster journey! With you :)

Some improvement on hitting the gym

Having tried to keep a routine to hit the gym, normally thrice per week, each time about 30-45minutes (not includes warm-up and relax).

Normally what I take are jogging, cycling (several kinds) and the 'oral car' (don't know what it is called in English) and I take them in turn, depends on which one are free to use.

I go to gym not for losing weigh (well partly hope for...), but just for keep myself looks sporty and keep my muscle tight. I don't want to see my whole body loose loose type when I am still young > <

Anyway, what I have improved is on jogging. In the past, I couldn't even run for 45 minutes at about 7km/h. Today I have made it! And, what makes me happier is that I found a way to make it.
(Of course, there are people who love to speed at 12 km/h or even higher, but I am not aiming for that since that is anyway not my aims. And it will actually overload your heart beat.)

1. Start with 6km/h with 5 minutes and familiarize your breath tempo. (Mine is inhale minorly via nostile twice, then exhale minorly via mouth twice)

2. Speed up to 7km/h for about 2 minutes. When you feel it is too slow to you, then speed up again to 8km/h for the rest period. (This depends on your ability. For the beginners, it is recommended to maintain at 7km/h and see whether you are comfortable with it. When you think it is too easy, you can then speed up.) Remember to control your breath.

3. At the ending 3 minutes, slow down to 7km/h for 1 minute, and continue with 6km/h for 2 minutes.

During the whole period, I find my arms and legs do not turn cold, which always happen to me before, and I can maintain the speed. I am really glad to achieve it and I hope to keep it up! ^V^

p/s: By the way, keeping the posture correctly also help me to speed up and relax. If I am not mistaken, your toes have to hit the ground gently, instead of using your heel. When your toes hit the ground, it is not supposed to be loud, and your knees have to always maintain bent to reduce the resistance from the ground to your knees.

Life is actually simple, people are the one make it complex.
Sometimes, 'ordinary' is not simply 'ordinary'.
How to make people think that you are extraordinary while you are actually ordinary is an art.
To become 'extraordinary', you have to add-on 'extra' to the 'ordinary'.

We always need to be energetic and enthusiastic in our life. There may be times which one becomes impetuous. If you are able to become impetuous, good for you, it means that you still possess the enthusiasm; if you are always impetuous, it means that you haven't understand life.

Are you suffering from procrastination (delay-disease)? You can always squeeze out the time and grasp the opportunities for what you really want, but you can always get excuses for what you are delaying.
